What is EMDR?

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based psychotherapy approach designed to help individuals process distressing memories and experiences. EMDR has been proven effective for trauma, anxiety, and other mental health challenges.

Learn more about EMDR by watching this introductory video from EMDRIA.

What is Brainspotting?

Brainspotting is a brain‑based therapeutic method that helps identify and process emotional pain and trauma by locating specific eye positions (“brainspots”) linked to distress. Once located, these brainspots can be used as targets to help release stuck emotional and physiological responses. Brainspotting supports deeper nervous system processing and can be used alone or alongside EMDR for a comprehensive therapeutic experience. Learn more about Brainspotting.
